Labour Day 2024, 2025 and 2026 in Saint Kitts and Nevis
Saint Kitts and Nevis observes Labour Day on 1 May as a national holiday. The emphasis of the day is on honouring the nation’s workers and on working to improve working conditions for them yet further.

There is a traditional Labour Day march in the town of Basseterre on Saint Kitts annually. This is often the scene of political speeches. The marchers ultimately rally at Pasty Allers Field for speeches and other events.
There may be other parades as well on Labour Day, and there are always some special events here and there. There may also be an occasional protest.
For the average person in Saint Kitts and Nevis, Labour Day is just a day off work and a chance to get out and do something. Many go to the beach, while others picnic, nature hike, or go boating.
