Easter 2027 and 2028 in Curaçao

Easter time celebrations occur on three main days in Curaçao: Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday.

The large majority of people are Roman Catholic and may attend mass throughout Holy Week. By the time Good Friday arrives, fish markets have their biggest day of the year as everyone crowds in to buy the main dish of their Good Friday meal.

On Easter Sunday, most attend church services, and many children participate in their first communion. After church, kids take part in a kite-flying contest in the town of Punda.
